Gianluca Green

Gianluca Green completed the iJay Practicum program across two semesters - Spring 2022 (Cohort 17) and Fall 2022 (Cohort 18) - as a member of the Web Development team, before graduating from Creighton University in 2023. His experience learning to be influential and advocate for ideas at iJay prepared him for strategic roles in the financial services industry.

Currently, Gianluca serves as a Risk Product Strategist at American Express, where he applies the influence and brand-building skills he developed during his Practicum experience to shape risk management strategies and product development.

During his time in the Practicum, Gianluca developed technical expertise in Rain templating language, Lightspeed E-commerce Platform, and Canva, while learning the crucial soft skill of influence and self-advocacy. The collaborative environment at iJay taught him how to build consensus around ideas and create a personal brand - skills that now serve him well at American Express, where strategic thinking and stakeholder influence are essential for successful risk product development.
