Cole Sheridan

Cole Sheridan completed the iJay Practicum program in Fall 2021 (Cohort 16) as a member of the Web Development team, before graduating from Creighton University in 2023. His experience learning collaborative teamwork and technical skills at iJay prepared him for success in the financial services industry.

Currently, Cole serves as a Financial Wealth Management Associate at AMG National Trust, where he applies the collaborative skills and adaptability he developed during his Practicum experience to help clients achieve their financial goals.

"I think the biggest thing I took from the practicum was being introduced to what success can look like while working cohesively as a team. This was an operation where it necessary for everyone in the group to have ideas and perform at a high level. The combination of collaborative skills and autonomy that you gain in this group will be beneficial for any occupation you go into because it teaches you the importance of being able to adapt and work from all angles to achieve an overarching goal."

During his time in the Practicum, Cole developed technical expertise in Excel and HTML while learning the importance of high-level teamwork and adaptability. The collaborative environment at iJay taught him how to contribute ideas while working toward shared objectives - skills that now serve him well in wealth management, where adapting to client needs and working across departments is essential for success.
